WHAT IS THIS WORKSHOP?

Creativity breeds innovation, and all fields require it. Unfortunately we don’t always feel this way or we feel blocked from our creative instincts. This workshop is meant to help you discover the keys that will unlock the treasure chest of creativity already within you, and we do this through exciting Improv exercises.

and Improv is the vehicle to get us there!

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Depending on your needs and the size of the group, this workshop can be 2-3hrs. long.

The way this workshop is run is by having everyone participate in several fun improv exercises. Most of the time we will be on our feet. Participation from everyone is expected but not mandatory. However, I always like to remind people that by everyone participating, we begin to cultivate a team mentality, and equally as important, we begin to push ourselves out of our comfort zone. That might mean doing something silly in an improv exercise. I recognize that this might not easy to do, but in doing so we start to learn the first benefit that improv has to offer, which is, to be comfortable in the uncomfortable. As we all know, that is where we grow.

WHO AM I?

Diego Parada has appeared on ABC's MODERN FAMILY, and a dozen national commercials, including 2025 Budweiser's Super Bowl commercial. He has lended his vocal talents to ADULT SWIMS' MIKE TYSONS MYSTERIES as well as several mini-series on NETFLIX.

He currently teaches, performs, and directs, at THE GROUNDLINGS Theater. There he has performed with a bunch of cool people from SNL, such as Chris Kattan, Ashley Padilla and Chloe Fineman.

Diego teaches improv at the historical Stella Adler Conservatory. He is also one of the founders of EKLEKTOS Acting Studio. An acting studio focused on the craft of developing authenticity in artists.

Diego continues to lead several corporate improv sessions in many different industries, from tech-incubators to pharmaceutical companies. Such companies include Neo Accelerator, Montage International, CAT and The University of Wisconsin.
